Dexter started singing in his church choir when he was three years
old and the following year he began playing the harmonica and
keyboards. In June 2000, after the passing of his father, he
attended Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Connecticut.
Mr. Newman recognized Dexter’s talents and gave him the opportunity
to perform in star-studded galas and Broadway shows to raise money
for children with blood diseases and cancer. Some of Dexter’s
co-stars have included Julia Roberts, Whoopie Goldberg, Paul
McCartney, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Alec Baldwin, Robin Williams, Morgan
Freeman, and Matt Damon to name a few. Dexter’s film credits have
included “Standing Ovation”

Television appearances have included “Cougar Town”, Nickelodeon's

Order Criminal Intent” and the “Sopranos.” Dexter also had the lead
role of George in the Off Broadway Play, School House Rock Live.
In addition to being an award winning Vocalist he is a company
trained dancer at Paul Morris Dance Xplosion where he has played the
lead role of "The Nutcracker". Dexter just finished filming his
newest film entitled "Joyful Noise"
